Who am I?

Good question.

I'm a nobody really. Oh, apart from the kids.. I'm a mother to two little boys. Wife too. That surely amasses credits as the years pass, and I'm fast approaching my 10 year wedding anniversary (although I might not have updated this website, so this milestone may be long passed.)

A chartered surveyor by trade - I founded my career at one of the 'big boys' before developing Tesco Express and Subway roadside developments in Manchester for a guy who might be on his way to jail. Now i manage my own property (singular not plural), which sounds lucrative. Only, with it being a former half-way house, turned crack-house, it's not.

Frustrated architect - once upon a time I was awarded a place at Manchester University to study architecture. After chickening out of the weightly 7-year degree in favour of surveying, I've spent my life designing the dream home that may just sit on a digital bookshelf somewhere, until computers are obsolete.

Daughter. Two amazing parents, who tried. Joke. I saw this on a geeky author page, entitled funniest book dedications ever, and I laughed. No, it did not resonate with me. I just laughed.

Seeing as I'm opening up a little, here is one of my favourite parent related book quotes. This one's John Green, from Paper Towns, and has nothing to do with my parents being therapists or published authors of a number of Reiki books.

'Both my parents are therapists, which means that I am really goddamned well adjusted.'

Oh this isn't one of those pages.. oops.
